TeleComp Computer Services

Company Background

Gino Capito and Roger Thomas have always had the entrepreneurial spirit.

Gino's vision was to provide the best computer service business in which he could locally own, and grow. In 2001 at age 30, he found himself in a position to sell his small business, Platinum Technologies, to a major NW Arkansas technology corporation. Two years later he made arrangements to purchase Dixieland Computers with a business partner, Roger Thomas, and get back into the self employment environment.

Roger had been self employed with his own telecommunications company, TeleCompNET, for 14 years (since October '94). Gino and Roger met via mutual customers, and business colleagues. They started running into each other when a local business / Wal-Mart Supplier needed computers (Gino) and telecommunications services (Roger). Then, they started referring business to each other. The relationship was non-competitive, non-threatening because each performed a vertical technology function. This type of lead sharing and customer partnering relationship went on for nearly two years.

Since the beginning of TeleComp in 2003, the company has grown to be the largest technology business locally owned (according to the Northwest Arkansas Business Journal in 2006, 2007, and 2008) in the thriving business economy of Northwest Arkansas, home of Wal-Mart, Tyson Chicken, JB Hunt and Fortune 500 companies these icons attract.  The business has continued to expand into the Little Rock, Fort Smith, Branson / Springfield and Oklahoma markets regionally.  And with the continued growth of VoIP technology, Video Conferencing and DR (Disaster Recovery) Satellite deployment, TeleComp has deployed systems in Chicago, New York, Dallas, Houston and many other US cities.  TeleComp plans to continue on its strong growth path by sticking to its core business: phone systems / circuit installs and computer / server sales and service, while catching new vertical technology opportunities that come up several times per year, and riding the wave. It not only makes for a good living, but a fun professional life. Gino and Roger plan on providing needed technology services to all people and businesses, while having a heck of a good time.

And as anybody knows, there are great players needed on every team. We encourage you to go to "Our Team" on this web site, and see the team members that TeleComp has comprised to make this a thriving technology company.
